After a quick outfit change we headed down to the creek…

I just have to share a few ‘behind-the-scenes’ shots… Courtney got pretty wet – even after rolling up her pants!

and we borrowed a 4-wheeler from Travis and Monica (thank you guys for everything!) so that we could easily get further down the creek to the area we shot in…

All in all, it was fun! We laughed a lot, got in a lot of water, and tried hard to stay dry!

These shots are actually from a family shoot – but when I went through the pictures to blog some I just could not say ‘no’ to any of these! So, I decided to blog this little series Brooklyn today, and I’ll blog a few more -with her parents- next week

There is a quote that I love; it hangs around here in various places – it might be on the fridge for awhile, then on my desk, then displayed in the living room….but everytime I see it I love it. It reads: Life is full of beauty. Notice it.

And honestly, I don’t know where I first saw it, and I had not written down the author’s name, so I goggled it and found that there is more to the quote. The entire thing reads:

Whew… It is actually late Thursday night as I type this, and I just finished an all day job of canning green beans. So, with another busy day ahead of me tomorrow I am throwing up a quickie post! This is a hodgepodge of pictures from our recent Gatlinburg trip…remember, the one that I forgot to take my camera on? I ran out and bought a point and shoot that turned out to be – well, not good. But, I am very thankful for the shots I got with it!

Happy 4th of July weekend! The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite Holiday’s – I love the cookouts, the fireworks, the parades, etc. I hope you all have a wonderful – and safe – weekend…. and try to stay cool!

Okay, I am back up and running     I ended up getting the space upgrade to work after all, so I didn’t take the plunge and purchase a custom blog…yet. I am still putting it off! Now, back to blogging where I left off….

Julie and her sweet baby boy (who is almost ONE!) got in front of my camera awhile back… I think we picked the most humid morning to do these – it was so hot! But, we still managed to get some great shots. Here are my favorites:

Emerson leaned in and planted a sweet kiss on his Momma’s cheek without being asked….and that made it even sweeter…

I am so annoyed right now. I am all out of image space here on the blog, and while I know I should probably upgrade to a custom blog I just haven’t. Instead I tried to do a space upgrade on here and keep getting error messages! UGH! I am very sorry, but as of right now I am not able to load pictures

If you have any advice for me, or have had this problem before, please let me know. WordPress support has not helped at all thus far

Also, if you have suggestions on custom blogs/hosting sites, please tell me about those too. I would love to hear your opinions!
