“The simple life, Country” that was our focus this time around over on Click of the Wild. And honestly, I kinda struggled with this one!
I had idea’s. But they weren’t easy to get. The timing and other things were out of my control. The first idea was a combine cutting a corn field. To me, this really says ”country” and it’s something that I see a lot where we live. But, most of the corn fields were cut by the time we started this focus, and the ones that weren’t cut yet, I never saw them out there cutting… Another idea was something I saw a couple of years ago; at dusk a pickup truck (lights on) with a trailer, and a couple of guys loading hay bales. The scene was gorgeous. But, I didn’t see that again while we were working on this focus.
And lastly, I did see this, but didn’t have my camera with me! Grrr…. I was driving down the road and got behind a guy wearing a baseball cap and flannel shirt driving a tractor. Yep, that’s country, and I loved it. But, I didn’t get to capture it
This is what I ended up with. Two silo’s in a soy bean field.
This next shot was only seconds after the one above…amazing what a little change in camera settings will do ;)
Head over to Click of the Wild to see what the other girls got. Enjoy! And thanks for looking.
