Yep, another over-load of Kennedy! Okay, I know that as cute as she is you all would probably like to see something/someone other than her on here…. am I right? Well, guess what, I will be posting some real soon. I promise! Untill then, here is my little girl at week 7. (she is actually 8 weeks old now, but these are last weeks pictures! I’ll post this weeks soon)

Ah, the holiday’s are here again. I love this time of the year! With the holiday’s comes lots of baking for us. And since I am not shooting much lately you are likely to see just about anything on this blog! Including the brownies I just made!

So, who is tired of seeing pictures of only Kennedy? Sorry! She is all I have been shooting lately! And since I really haven’t shot anything/anyone else I am just posting more pictures of Miss Kennedy….

Haha! I know she looks like she is screaming “MOM STOP IT!” But it is actually just a yawn!!

Now this one is a bit over-exposed and the focus is not even close to great – but I just thought it was too cute not to share!

Some of you who read my blog often may remember that I plan to take at least a picture a week of Kennedy for the first year. These are some I took last week, week 3:

Thanks to my sis Holly for helping me capture our first family picture! I wanted to get one of us while Kennedy was still very little, so I set up the shot, set the camera settings, Holly took the picture and voila! This is what we got. I think it turned out pretty good!

Often I will ‘see’ a picture in my minds eye before I ever pull out the camera. I will have an idea, and then go to shoot it. Sometimes it is better than what I had imagined and sometimes it is nothing like what I had imagined. This can sometimes be hard because I will not be satisfied with a really good picture because it just didn’t turn out the way I had seen it in my mind! And as I have said before I think that as an artist, we are our own worst critic, so I often let others see the pictures that I am un-sure about to get their reactions.

For awhile now I have been thinking about taking a picture of Kennedy’s little feet in Stu’s hands. I can’t describe exactly what kind of picture I had in mind, but it was not this! However, there is something about this picture that I like. I don’t love it. I am not thrilled that I didn’t capture the picture that I saw with my minds eye. But yet, there is something about it that I sort of like. Maybe it is just the simple fact that it is my husbands hands holding my daughters feet. I don’t know. That is why I am posting this – just to see what you all say! Is it good? Is it bad? Let me know what you think!

Yay! I finally have my computer back! So now I am posting Kennedy’s first little photoshoot… I am sure it is just the first of many! I said a long time ago that if and when I had kids I would take a picture a day just so I can see how much they change in the first year. I have since decided a picture a day might be a little much, so I have decided to do a picture a week (at least!) in hopes to put them all together after one year and actually see her go thru the many changes that I know she will. She changes so much every single day, everyone has warned me that she will grow up fast – I believe it! I find myself just staring at her trying to take in everything, fearing that I might miss something. But still I feel that when we get up in the middle of the night to feed she changed since we went to bed! Haha!

Everyone also told me that there is simply nothing like having a child. The love that you feel. The joy that a child brings… I now understand, it is truly amazing. I had no idea that it was possible to love this much.

Sigh. I still don’t have my computer back yet. I know I have failed terribly latey in the blogging department, but I am just waiting on my computer! I seriously feel a little lost without it! Haha! But I have been taking pictures of Kennedy that I hope to be able to edit and post soon. For now, here is a quick snapshot of her sleeping the other day……
