For our Week 11 shoot we had a little better light, which made me soooo happy! I just about always do her pictures in our bedroom on the bed, I pull the blinds up to get as much natural light in as I can and this week was better than it has ever been! Yay!

Haha! I love this one!

A couple of silly faces….

Going through some of the pictures I took of Kennedy today (for Week 11) I came across these and I just had to laugh – they are just so cute! She is getting such a little personality and making all these silly faces, I couldn’t help but post a whole pile of them! I’ll be posting some more of her weekly session soon, so stay tuned!

When I came to this one while going through my pictures I just laughed out loud!

Thats right, this is the 100th post! Kind of exciting! I decided to get it in before the year ends and what better pictures to post than family pictures? Since that is how this blog got started in the first place!
These are a few pictures I took of our family when we got together for Holly’s birthday…..

My family is big, so when we get together it is normally one loud, busy crowd! I kind of like next two pictures because the movement gives you the feeling of our family.

I love this time of the year. The sparkly lights, christmas music, the smell of christmas trees, baking, spending time with family, the gifts under the tree, the anticipation… it all just seems magical to me.

I want to take just a moment to say Merry Christmas and Thank you to all of my blog readers. When I started this blog a little over a year ago I had no idea it would be viewed by so many people! To every single one of you out there: Thank you! You all have helped me become a better photographer.

Thank you to those of you who asked me to take your pictures this past year. Thank you for having more faith in me than I had in myself. I have loved photography for long time now and have always dreamed of being a ‘photographer’ but have lacked the courage it takes to just put myself out there and do it. I feel that this past year I have come a long way, and I can’t wait to see what the coming year brings.

Thank you for your support and your encouragment, it means so much to me.

I have an adorable little baby to blog – and it is not Kennedy Grace! Meet Silas. His Mom and I were friends and when we were teenagers, over the years we grew apart, got married and then this year we found out we were both expecting around the same time! We even ended up in the hospital at the same time in rooms side by side! Anyway, Stephanie and Silas came over for lunch yesterday so we took a few pictures…… Is he just adorable or what?!
