Coming soon I have a family shoot and an adorable little girl to share with you all; but till then, a little bit of spring and Kennedy after eating carrots at lunch today….
I took this picture a few days ago of a tree in our yard… so glad to see spring coming!!
And I couldn’t post just one of Kennedy, so here are a few… Oh! and guess what… she said “MuMa” this week! She only says it when she is fussing, but it still just melts my heart! Ah, the joys of motherhood….
I love softball, so when my cousin told me her kids were playing their first T-ball game, I said “I’ll be there with my camera!” And I was. And I took LOTS of pictures, not only of her kids but the whole team! There is just something about a bunch of adorable little kids all dressed up in uniforms, I just couldn’t get enough! So be warned; there are a lot of pictures in this post. I did make a couple of collages so the post would not be so long, the pictures are small in those, but if you click on them you can get a bigger picture.
(Parents of the team; if you would like a disc of all the pictures I took, feel free to shoot me an email. bobbiebrown5@hotmail.com or you can let Paulette know.. Thanks!)
I love love love this picture!
We got Kennedy (my little girl for those of you who don’t know) and Kourtnie (my cousins little girl) together for a few photos again. And again, they held hands! So cute!
This was hysterical! Kourtnie put her arm in Kennedy’s face and Kennedy grabbed it and started licking, which must have tickled Kourtnie because she just laughed! It was so funny!
…..I love this weather we’ve been having! Kennedy and I have been outside a lot lately, its the kind of weather that just makes you want to take pictures even more than the norm… and so I got a few of Kennedy touching the grass for the first time (which she loved!)
Last week a few girls came over for a ‘picture party’. Basically we just pulled out all of my old photo albums, ate, drank and took a trip down memory lane… It was so much fun! We laughed at the clothes we wore, talked about who dated who, asked why we allowed each other out of the house with that hair style… It was a blast. It made me want to take my camera anywhere and everywhere with me again. I used to have my camera with me snapping pictures all of the time, somewhere along the way I have kind of gotten out of the habit. (I know MawMaw, you have been telling me this!) but after looking at all those old pictures I feel…. inspired. Inspired to capture those moments, moments at family gatherings, moments with friends, moments that otherwise slip by. Instead of letting them all slip by I plan to pull out my camera and capture a few of them. Its not that I never take pictures of everyday life, I just don’t do it near as much as I once did.
So be warned, if you are around me, I might just try to snap a picture! And blog readers, you’ll probably see a few of those pictures here! Like these from my party….
