Family

These are a few pictures we took on our recent trip to Charleston with the family… I have said this before, but I’ll say it again, family pictures like these may bore most of you (sorry!) but I like to post them for my family…

Kennedy seeing the ocean for the first time… love the look on her face!!

I loooooove this picture!
Picking up her first sea-shell…
Stu took these and I think he did a fabulous job!

Stu proposed to me here in this park, so we had to have our picture made there with Kennedy..

Haha! I love this picture!

These are a few random pictures I took….
Me and my sisters….
Hope your weekend is fantastic!

Megan and Kendall: Prom

Megan and Kendall recently went to the prom and asked me to take pictures of them before they left… and I had so much fun doing it! As most of you know, I shy away from weddings. So it is not often that I get to shoot a couple all dressed up in a tux and gorgeous dress! (I love the skirt on Megan’s dress)

Did I mention that I love the skirt on this dress?!
If any of you girls out there want prom pictures of you and your date, or just you and your girlfriends, let me know… I’d be happy to do them for you. Even if your prom is already over, you could put the dress back on, have some fun, and get some great pictures to remember it all! And personally, I think it would be cool to do a group of girls, we could do some of you all together and then each of you by yourselves.
Happy Thursday!

Me: in action

As promised, here are a few pictures of me in action while taking Jonathan and Holly’s pictures in Charleston… Tressa Ann and Kristen (my sister and my brothers girlfriend) came along with us on the shoot. I heard them giggling and turned around to find them looking at their camera’s of pictures they had snapped of me! Ah, they are just so sweet! (read with sarcasm) Apparently they thought taking pictures of me laying on the ground were the best, since that is mostly what we have here! haha!

Okay, now you all need to leave me nice comments telling me how cute I look! HA!

Holly and Jonathan

We recently went to Charleston with my family, and while we were there I did a photo shoot for Holly and Jonathan. (for those of you who don’t know, Holly is my sister and Jonathan is her boyfriend) Everywhere we went we found awesome places to shoot! I love Charleston!

(I meant to get some of Jonathan by himself, but I sorta failed to do so!)

I’ve mentioned ‘out-takes’ before; the pictures that got pulled out of the ‘best’ pile for some reason or another…. this one (below) made me laugh out loud! The look on Holly’s face, and her hand!! I really don’t remember why she made this face, but I just had to post it! (love ya Sis!)

Thompson Family

I was so tempted to title this post “the blue eyed family”…. yes, I know, that is terribly corny! But everyone in this family has the same amazing blue eyes! They got together to get their pictures made for their Mom (and Grandma) for Mothers Day, here are a few of my fav’s….

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day to all of you Mom’s out there! I hope your day is nothing short of fabulous! And a special Happy Mothers Day to my Mom, and my Mother-in-law… you two are wonderful and I love you very much!

I wish I had a mother-daughter picture of Kennedy and I to share with you… but sadly I don’t! (I’ll have to work on that!) I do, however, have a picture of Kennedy offering up a hug for you all!

Kennedy Week 27

Okay, I know this is a lot of pictures of Kennedy, but I had such a hard time narrowing it down to just these!

She found the little flowers on her outfit very interesting…

She sometimes looks at her hands, like she is figuring out how they work, and I managed to capture that in these next few pictures!
This looks like an “ah-ha!” moment to me!

I love getting a few tootsie pictures (in case you’ve never noticed!)
She saw herself in our mirror and was just amazed! I ended up putting her on our dresser so she could touch the mirror and she loved it!

Kennedy – outdoor shoot

I wanted to get some good outdoor pictures of Kennedy before she got her helmet, so we went over to my parents house and my Mom and I hauled two cool old chairs around the yard snapping away. Callie (the cat) decided to come down off the roof and join us since Duke (the dog) was not around… and it really made for some cute pictures! Kennedy loves animals so she was thrilled, but, she barely looked at me! But I didn’t mind, I like to see kids ‘in action’ they don’t always have to be looking and smiling…

Haha! I love this picture!

oh.so.cute!

Okay, I am sitting here going through the pictures I took of Kennedy yesterday for her Week 27 (yep, I am still keeping up with her weekly pictures!) and I just had to post these – I haven’t even gone through all of them yet, but how cute are these?! Yes, I know this may sound like I am bragging, since she is my daughter (but she looks just like her Daddy!) and can anyone disagree with me? (on the cuteness factor that is!)
I mean really, I want to go wake her up right now and squeeze those little cheeks! Um, did I just say I wanted to go wake her up?!

She is supposed to wear this helmet 23 hours a day, so I could take it off for a few of her weekly pictures, but I have decided to keep it on for the pictures for a couple of reasons. 1) I want her to wear it as much as possible so it will help shape her little head as fast as possible (I am already wanting to get rid of it!) and 2) this is the way we see her now, so why not show that in her weekly pictures?
I will have to post more from this shoot, I have a feeling I am going to find lots of cute ones in here! But I have a few of her I did outside I need to post first… I’ll try to get those up soon.
