Here we are today, the last day of summer, and I am pretty excited about fall and all that it brings! Fall is my favorite season… and to kick things off, here are a couple of pictures I took at the fair last week.
Goodbye summer!
Here we are today, the last day of summer, and I am pretty excited about fall and all that it brings! Fall is my favorite season… and to kick things off, here are a couple of pictures I took at the fair last week.
Goodbye summer!
Meet Wade… an ardorable almost-5-year-old!
The focus for this shoot was mostly on Wade… but we also got some with his Mom, Chasity… (and this little boy does love his Mom, it was so sweet watching the two of them together!)
We even got some of Chasity and Dustin…
Thanks again for having me do your pictures! (and for hanging out waiting on me while I was in the wrong spot waiting on you!)
Going through some of my pictures today (trying to get ahead!) I realized that some of the technically imperfect pictures are very dear to my heart! I have a habit of skipping over the pictures that I don’t feel are the best… by that I mean the lighting, the color, the focus, the composition, all that good stuff! But, even though these are not the ‘best’ pictures, they are some of my favorites simply because of the story they tell, or the memory.
First, here is Kennedy going to meet her Daddy when he came home from work one day this week…. She gets SO excited when he comes home and it just melts my heart! I just happened to be playing outside with her (and my camera) when he came home that day, and so I snapped away as she took off to meet him…
Here she is doing one of her favorite things… cleaning out the drawer! I love how she is looking over her shoulder in the second one like “opps, I just got caught!”
And last, here she is at the pool… her face is way to dark in this picture, but I still love it!
Meet the Miles Family… When Christy emailed me she informed me they had not had pictures taken in way to long; so we took care of that! Here are a few of my favorites…
Meet baby Sol; a precious little baby boy. His Mom had some very specific idea’s of what she wanted, and so we did just that, and here is what we captured….
I loved his pants!
I couldn’t decide between the next two wich I liked better… so I posted them both!
I am sure I have said it before; but I’ll say it again… I love pictures of baby feet! And this one is no exception!
Erica; it was so good to meet you and Sol… He is adorable! And I hope these pictures will help to remind you for years to come of this fleeting ‘newborn’ stage….
My camera and I feel in love with this little girl from the first ‘click’ of my camera… (I know, I am corny!) But really, she was absolutely adorable!
Meet Coreen and Lia; a Mother/Daughter pair.
Coreen and Lia; Thank you again for asking me to do your pictures… It was so good to meet you and I look forward to seeing you again soon!
XoXo
To my new blog! I am still learning how to use it, so you may see several changes in the future, but when I saw how big I can make my pictures I was sold! My old blog is also here, I was able to import it, so you can still see it.
I’ll be blogging a Mother/Daughter shoot soon, till then, here is a picture of Kennedy that Stuart (my hubby) took. He also snapped some updated ones of me, you can find them on the ‘about me’ page. And speaking of pictures of me, you can also see some on Linden’s blog (see I am still learning because I can’t figure out how to link her site on here!) You can find her blog at www.lindenclairephotography.com I was going to post some of the pictures she took here on my blog and link her then, but I don’t have the pictures yet, so go on over and see them on her blog!
Mmmm, I love how big this picture is!
Meet Chris and Chrissie; a Father-Daughter pair. I have to admit, I was quite impressed when Chris contacted me wanting pictures of him and Chrissie, it’s not often that you get requests from Dad’s! I think it is so important to have pictures like this, and so sweet!
Chris and Chrissie; Thanks again for having me take your pictures!!
You may remember this little handsome boy a few posts back. The first time we did his pictures we got rained on and he never once sat still, I left feeling like I didn’t really get a great shot of his face… I know it is not easy to get a 2 year old to sit still, and I like the ‘in action/not posed’ shots, but still, I wanted to see his face in at least one! And so, I asked if we could do his again, whice we did, and we got rained on again! However, I got some great ones (where you can see his face!) this time around!
