Family

As I have mentioned before, I always get a little nervous with big groups, so I was a wee bit nervous to shoot this family! But, I found that they were super easy to work with and we got some great shots! Here are some of my favorites……

Thanks again to all of you!

Miscellaneous Monday

This year seemed to sneak up on me so fast as far as getting pictures made for our Christmas card… I suddenly realized I had not taken the first picture for our card and so I got busy fast! Kennedy was teething and had a runny nose on the day we did these, but I thought she did really good considering she didn’t feel that good.

These are the two pictures we used on our card this year….

Merry Christmas to you and your family from me and my family!

Kyle, Ginny and Jax

This was a quick shoot, without ‘desirable’ light, but we got a few good shots of my cousin Ginny and her hubby Kyle and their adorable baby Jax.  Here are my favorites…

Kyle is such a nut, and every time we do pictures you can count on him doing something like this next one… Ginny feels sure Jax will be the same way and getting a picture without them doing something silly will be hard! haha!

The “A” Family

This family has had me take their pictures for several years now, and I love that! I love getting to see how much the boys have grown and changed since our last shoot, and this time it seemed to me like they had all grown up so much!

Thanks Kari and Ellis for letting me capture your family year to year – It makes me feel like I must be doing something right for you to keep coming back! Thanks!!

Miscellaneous Monday

Okay, I have definitely been missing in action here on the blog… So sorry.     But, I do have a pretty good excuse! I have been sick. Yes, sadly I have been a little under the weather and just haven’t felt like doing much of anything. Thankfully, I am feeling a lot better now, and hope to get completely well very soon.  My Dad always says that being sick is good for you, it makes you appreciate good health. And well, I couldn’t agree with you more Dad!

This week I hope to get some shoots blogged that are long past due. Till then, I bring you Miscellaneous Monday!

This weekend I went to my Grandparents house for our annual “Candy Day”. For years now, MawMaw has had us all up to her house for a day of making homemade candy during the Christmas season. When I say “us all” that means only the girls, the boys always had their time at Thanksgiving. She started this when I was very young (I am the oldest grandchild) and had no idea that we would continue coming every year even after growing up and having our own kids.  We all used to spend the night, but now only the un-married ones spend the night and the rest of us come up first thing in the morning. We first eat breakfast, then we have an apron exchange, then while sporting our new aprons we get to the business of making candy!  It is a day we all look forward too and we feel incredibly lucky to have grandparents who go to all the trouble and time it takes to do something like this. Thank you Poppa and MawMaw! I’d like to say I have tons of pictures to share with you, but, since I did not feel good I ended up taking only a couple of pictures and then ended up leaving a little early… but here are two I did take:

First, Poppa and MawMaw making us all breakfast… nothing like Poppa’s hot pancakes! Yum!

Then this little guy got to come hang with all the girls because he is just a baby! (you may remember Jax from a few different posts in the past…)

That is it, I know, only enough to make you mad! I normally would have pictures of us in our aprons, cooking, the finished candy, all kinds of stuff! I’ll try to do better next year.

Happy Monday Ya’ll!

Miscellaneous Monday

I cannot believe that this is the last day of November! (and on a sidenote, it is my hubby’s birthday – Happy Birthday Babe!)  So, how many of you got out and went shopping Friday? I did! I don’t normally go shopping on the biggest shopping day of the year, but I did this year. And I did find some deals!  A little fact about me; I am not a big shopper. I somehow missed out on the girl gene that loves to shop.  I don’t hate to shop, just don’t love it.

I have had a few people ask me about Kenendy’s birthday pictures, (thank you for being interested!) Honestly, I didn’t post them because I really didn’t take a lot, I was too busy! But, here are a few that we did take, nothing great, just some snapshots.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Grandkids

We did this shoot awhile back of the Love grandkids for MeMaw’s Birthday (Happy Birthday Penny!) And now that her birthday has come and gone I can share these with you…

Three gorgeous sisters and one adorable baby boy. And let me tell you, these girls just love their little cousin, they constantly wanted to kiss and hold him, it was adorable!

Thanks again Alicia and Jamie for asking me to do these for you… :)

Miscellaneous Monday

Today I bring you pictures of my daughter thoroughly enjoying her Spaghetti lunch….

Okay, so maybe I went  a little overboard on posting pictures!

While we are on ‘Miscellaneous Monday’ I’ll take the chance to list a couple of things I am currently loving (after all, Miscellaneous Monday’s are supposed to be random!)

Christmas scented candles from Yankee Candle and I am especially loving the fact that right now you can print this coupon and get yourself a great deal!

Scarves – I love them, I love them, I love them! A girl can never have too many scarves.

There you go, a little big dose of Kennedy pictures and some rambling from me… I hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

3 Brothers and a Sister…

Meet Maddox, Hudson, Landry and Gannon. They are adorable, and very good, just not very interested in having their pictures made! However, we did manage to capture some really cute ones…..

Amanda (their Mom) had not planned on getting in the pictures, but decided to jump in a few anyway and I was so glad, I love them! I could not decide between these next two so I am posting them both…

And because I am sure you are wondering if the two older boys are twins… no, they are not.  But the two youngest, Landry and Gannon are! Amanda has her hands full and I have to say; I was so impressed at how good she is with them!

Thanks again Amanda for asking me to do these for you… XoXo

Jane

Happy 1st Birthday Jane!  Lynn, Jane’s Mom, asked me to come and take some birthday pictures and I was more than happy too! Here are a few of my favorites…

The cakes were adorable… she had one big cake for everyone and one small one for Jane to dig into. This is the small one..

And this is the bigger one:

This is what the cake looked like after Jane got done with it! She did a great job digging in and having a good time!!
