I did this shoot before Christmas and am just now getting it blogged! Just a little behind! I did Sol’s newborn pictures and was so glad to see this little fellow again, he is just so cute, and such a happy baby boy! His Mom asked me to come over and do the picture at their house, and she had all the props – I think they turned out SO cute!

I have been known to talk about things I am currently loving in my Miscellaneous Monday posts… and right now that would be my new video camera The Flip.  I love how small and convenient it is to pull out at any time and capture Kennedy’s giggles or whatever else!  In fact, I often stick it in my purse when I head out, just in case I want to use it! However, I know nothing about video editing and would love any advice/help any of you can give me. I would love to know how to put together different clips of video’s and that sort of thing….. Happy Monday!

I think we chose the coldest day of December to do this shoot! Seriously, it was freezing! But, we braved it and Courtney, Tyke and Brooklyn actually managed to look like they were nice and comfy out there! Meanwhile, I was wearing layers behind my camera! Here are some of my favorites from our shoot….

I love this shot (below)… I always love shots like this because it makes you realize just how small they are, and they just don’t stay this small long!

We took a few minutes to get a group shot of Courtney’s entire family….

Being such a cutie in front of the camera on such a cold day is hard work! Brooklyn was out by the end of our shoot! (by that, I mean sound asleep!)

Mmmm, I feel like I say this often, but is it Monday again already?! The weeks seem to be flying by! In fact, I just realized this past week that I only have 11 weeks to go before my due date, Yay! Eleven more Monday’s…. when you think of it like that it will be here before we know it!

Because I always try to share a least one picture on Miscellaneous Monday I will give you one of Kennedy eating a cookie… this girl loves her some cookies!

For us, the new year brought a new baby! My cousin Heidi and her hubby Devin welcome their brand new baby boy, Max!   I went this morning right after he was born and snapped a quick picture of him…. Congrats Heidi and Devin, he is adorable!

To the rest of you; I hope your new year is off to a great start…. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Okay, I just have to say first off… can you imagine the trouble this little girl is going to have when she is old enough to date, with three big brothers?! These adorable kids kept me (and their Mom) moving throughout the whole shoot, but we had a blast! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the shoot….

You might notice the baby doll in pretty much every picture… she didn’t want to let it go, which I thought was adorable! To me, it is things like this that make a picture, because it is real.

Just like a girl to be trying to clean up while the boys make a mess! Haha!

Whew! It has been busy busy busy around here! Christmas is over and I am a little sad, but excited for the new year too. This Miscellaneous Monday I bring you a few random pictures from the past week, they are simply snapshots straight out of my camera.

On this Miscellaneous Monday I’d like to say a big Thank You to all of my blog readers and especially my clients this past year. Thank you for your support, for your encouragement, for your comments, for asking me to take your pictures and capturing your moments – whatever they may have been. Thank you!   I feel incredibly blessed to be able to stay at home with my daughter (and soon to be 2nd child, boy or girl, we will know in March!) and still be able to do what I love – photography. Thank you for helping make this possible.

I will be posting more after Christmas, but for now I am spending a few days in TN with family and then coming home just in time for Christmas…. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

We did this shoot in about 5 minutes – no kidding! It was freezing outside and my cousin Joanna wanted at least one good family picture, which I think we got!

Ed and Lina have recently been married for 20 years now and their kids asked me to do a special post just for them! I thought that was so sweet and I am more than happy to do it!
