Miscellaneous Monday

My girls girly-girls. Totally into pink, and anything barbie or princess. In fact, Bristol tells me every morning as I get her dressed “Mommy, I wanna look like a Pwincess!”
But, they also love climbing tree’s (the one little tree at the end of our driveway that they can actually get in!) picking up fat green worms (which Bristol holds up close to her face and says “It’s so pwetty!”), and playing with sticks. What is it about sticks? They love them!

We had a good lazy day yesterday. I sat outside and watched as Kennedy and Bristol danced to a little toy that plays lullabies…

Then they ran toward me a few times holding hands while I took pictures…

But that did not end well….

Nothing that a little popsicle couldn’t fix though :)

Then they ran again, this time not holding hands…

Okay, for those of you who know me well, you probably guessed that I laughed so hard at that ‘falling’ shot! I can’t help myself! I know, even as I type this it sounds so mean. But in my defence I did jump up as soon as it happened, grabbed her, checked her over to make sure she was okay, soothed and comforted, got the popsicle…. and once she was okay I was looking at the pictures on my camera and only then did I start laughing (totally out of control!) when I saw that I captured her mid-fall! I literally could not stop laughing! I am pretty sure my kids think I am nuts :)

Hope your weekend was wonderful and your Monday is off to a great start….thanks for looking!

Charlie and Brittany

Charlie and Brittany recently welcomed a sweet baby girl in their lives, but here is a maternity shoot we squeezed in before I had Tenley…just a few of my favorites!

Thanks guys, for trusting me to capture these for you (and for standing on a ladder 8+ months preggo up above you! haha!)

Miscellaneous Monday

Honestly, Monday has snuck up on me. And I have a million things going on (who doesn’t, right?!) so I am doing a super quick post today…

These are pictures from Tenley’s weekly shoots. I love when I get a good ‘serious’ look and ‘happy’ look in the same week :)

Here she is at 8 weeks old…

And her nine week serious face…

and nine week happy face :)

Miscellaneous Monday

For this post, I went through my “June Misc.” folder and chose some favorites….

Summertime at MawMaw and Poppa’s house
I am incredibly blessed to have amazing grandparents. They have always been a huge part of my life, making countless memories with not only me, but all of their children and grandchildren. Now they have great-grandchildren and they are just as amazing with them. Kennedy and Bristol love going to their house, and we often go up there just to hang out, eat lunch and let the kids play…
From left, here is Max, Tori, Kennedy and Bristol

Sisterly love
I adore this picture for the simplicity that it is. They way it shows my girls, as they are now.

Bristol Bee
Ah, this child is so full of personality. She keeps us laughing all the time. She climbed up on my bed with her baby doll one day, so I grabbed my camera and captured her, just being her :)

A summer day
Lunch outside on beach towels in bathing suites and their little pool nearby makes these little girls very happy.

Thanks for looking :)
Happy Monday!

Happy Independence Day!

I hope yours is a great one :)

We are enjoying our day of parades, rides, family time at home and later a cookout and fireworks :) These 3 images are from my sisters instagram (which I admit I wish I had!) and I thought I’d share them here real quick…

Kennedy and Bristol at the parade this morning…

Kennedy after getting a butterfly painted on her face, which she loves and is still asking every 5 minutes “It hasn’t washed off has it?”

Bristol feel sound asleep at her 2nd parade – poor girl was worn out!

Thanks Aunt Tressa for the pictures!

Tenley and pretty hair flowers

So I am kinda in love with headbands for Tenley these days… I ordered a couple off Etsy and when I went to leave feedback I realized I had the option to include a picture, so you know, I couldn’t turn that down!

I love to see the pictures I’ve taken printed and framed (or on canvas – especially on canvas!) in my friends and clients homes, so I assumed that an Etsy seller might just feel the same way about seeing their work on a sweet little baby. So I attached one of Tenleys weekly pictures that I had taken and left feedback.

I got an email shortly after from the seller (Hey Sarah!) and I was right, she loved it, and I have since helped her out with a few more pictures… she makes gorgeous headbands, so be sure to click HERE and check out her shop!

Meanwhile, Here Tenley is modeling a couple that we got this week :)

Happy Friday!
