Sisters. Best friends. And a senior session together. These two were awesome to work with! Maggie already holds a special place in our hearts, she has been our baby sitter for several years now, and honestly, she just makes leaving my kids easy (they adore her) she makes coming home easy (everything is tidy and the kids are excited about whatever they’ve done with her) and in general she feels like part of our family Mags, we love you!

I pulled my camera out one day recently, when my 3 girls were getting into a basket full of lipstick/lipgloss and who knows what else… I walked in the room and found them digging through their basket, choosing the most perfect shade. (I should probably say ‘shades’ since they tend to layer it on)…

Olivia was so fun to have in front of my camera! Like most senior’s, she was up for anything I suggested, her dress was gorgeous and I love that she included her horse in a few! We had fun just wondering around on a Saturday morning and capturing her – as she is now. Well, then… this is another session from last year

I absolutely love sessions in the home. I feel like they are so personal and make the photos that much more special. Our homes change over the years, the decor, the furniture arrangement, etc., and it’s nice to have photo’s to look back on… Anna (whose family I always love to have in front of my camera – no matter where we are!) asked me to come to her home to capture her and her two kiddos. Adah, who is just full of personality and spunk, and brand new baby Lawton who is oh-so-sweet in that precious newborn kinda way

Another session from last year…finally hitting the blog!

Doug and Charlsey; they were so much fun to work with. The kind of people that when we met were total strangers and 2 hours later felt like old friends.
These are my favorites from their session. They chose to shoot at Treehouse Vineyards, and it was so gorgeous!

It is nearly impossible to get a picture of all three of my girls together and smiling. Someone is always looking down or away, or frowning or sticking their tongue out, or something! And honestly, as I ran out in our front yard with them for 0.2 seconds before church (Okay, it was more like 2 minutes!) I tried not to get my expectations up. These are not perfect photo’s, but, I feel that they capture my girls perfectly. And that, makes me happy
