We always celebrate MawMaw’s birthday at my Aunt and Uncle’s house up at the lake… here are a few of the pictures from this year.
(remember, you can click the images to enlarge them….)
a few ‘jumping’ pictures…
Yes, I know I have blogged a “thank you” before – a couple of times actually – but I feel that I just can’t say it enough…. So, here I am again, posting just to say a huge THANK YOU!
Thank you to all of you who visit my blog, who leave comments, who email, call or tell me in person how much you enjoy my blog and my pictures. Honestly, it means so much. I am humbled and inspired. Inspired to do more, get more creative, and take more chances.
And a special Thank you to all of you who have asked me to take your pictures. I love taking pictures, and to know that you all trust me to capture moments in your lives to remember, to cherish and to look back on is again, humbling. Thank you.
I’ll leave you with a couple of pretty pictures from my parents yard I took over the weekend….
I love quotes and I just thought these were too cute!
Happy Tuesday!
Sorry for being a little slack on posting lately… but Kennedy has really been the only one in front of my camera these days. It seems like I got pretty busy there for awhile, and now I only have one shoot that is a sure thing… and about 4 that are supposed to happen, just not on the books yet. So, if you want to get in front of my camera – now is the time!
Till then, here is yet another handful of Miss Kennedy Grace!
First off; just a random picture of her that I like…
If you are a long time blog reader you’ve probably noticed me mention my good friend Julie. She is a fabulous artist, you can check her out here: www.artbyjpaige.blogspot.com
She and her hubby Sean have been married for 5 years now and have never had ‘good’ pictures made. So, we fixed that! Where is the sense in having a photographer friend and no good pictures of yourself?!
Julie was so nervous about getting in front of my camera! She would say “I want to have pictures of us, I just don’t want to have to get them done!” But she did GREAT! And then made me feel so good because she told me that I made them completely comfortable and they had a blast! Yay! Well, I must me doing something right huh?
It seems like my friends and I just started having kids, and now, one of them has already turned One year old! Wow!
I took my camera to Holdyn’s birthday party but it stayed in the bag most of the time. I know, shameful. But here are a few I grabbed…..
My cousin, Justin, got married last weekend. I was not the photographer, but, I did take my camera along for a few pictures! I didn’t get a whole lot because I didn’t want to get in the ‘real’ photographers way and I didn’t want to use my flash once it got dark. But, here are a few I did get….
I love this one of Poppa, I really can’t tell you why. I just do.
The groom…
I could not get a great picture of the bride coming down the aisle, or of the groom seeing her for the first time (due to people behind and in front of me) and I figured the photographers would get both of those shots. So, I opted to shoot Connie, Katies Mom, seeing her daughter walk down the aisle… and I am glad I did! I love the ‘feeling’ of these…
Connie looking back at Justin to see his reaction:
It’s a Mother-son shoot; a gift for Dad. Maybe we’ll get him in here next time around!
As I took this picture I couldn’t help but think of the saying When they are young they step on your toes and when they are grown they step on your heart…
Family pictures of Brittany, Mark and Holdyn…. Warning: these pictures have a cute little boy with spiked hair in them! And, he is one year old today! Happy Birthday Holdyn!
Well, well, well, it has been awhile since Miss Kennedy made an appearance on the blog! (It has been more than a whole week! gasp! haha!) And since I know you all are missing her terribly, here are a few pictures for ya!
