Today’s Miscellaneous Monday is about Halloween… and a few pictures of my ladybug who didn’t like being a ladybug at all! I put her costume on and she fussed and cried and tried to pull it off!  Here are a couple of shots I grabbed - they are by no means ‘good’ images but you’ll get the idea!

She would NOT keep the hat on, so here is a shot from behind so you can see it…

On another note… as you read this I am in the mountains with my hubby and little girl… (a big Thank You to my in-laws for giving us this trip! We love you!) But, don’t worry, I worked hard before I left and will have a couple more blog posts coming to you this week!

In an effort to post more often, I have decided to try posting every Monday, and if I don’t have a shoot ready to share it will be “Miscellaneous Monday”. I will post about miscellaneous things and/or miscellaneous pictures… More than likely there will always be a picture, I am not so good at just writing… I get to distracted and feel to rushed when I post!  But, you may see me posting about random things that are going on in my life, something I currently like (that changes a lot since I am expecting right now!) or just whatever!

Anyway, this week I’ll share a couple pictures of Kennedy with you (I may be sharing a lot of Kennedy on the Misc. Monday’s - Sorry!) These are from her Week 52 shoot… and I just love them!

And a little something that I love right now: The children’s book “Someday” by Alison McGhee and Peter H. Reynolds. I bought this book for Kennedy for her 1st Birthday and I love it SO much!

By the time we took him inside to do a few he was over getting his picture made; he did SO good the whole time though, and I like this one even though he was starting to cry…

Today my baby girl turns One year old! Honestly it is so hard to believe….   As some of you may already know, I started a ‘project’ when she was born to take a picture a week for one year of her. I wanted to do this so I could ‘see’ how she changed from week to week. I have picked out my favorite picture from every week and put them in a coffee table book (almost done with it, cannot wait to see the finished product!) Anyway, I wanted to share all 52 pictures with you here on the blog, so I have created a little slideshow with Weeks 2 through 51, and also a bigger picture of weeks 1 and 52… Happy Birthday Kennedy Grace! I love you!

Wow! It is amazing to me to see the changes in these pictures… I love it! I knew from the beginning that these first years would be fleeting, and I am so glad that I have managed to capture and save a little bit of every week with my camera.. And now that she is a year old I plan to take her picture once a month, so wish me luck keeping up with it!

I may not do weddings, but I LOVE doing bridals or ‘Day After’ sessions… A ‘Day After’ session is when a girl gets back into her wedding dress for more pictures (with or without her hubby). It can be the Day after your wedding, a month after or 10 years after – it does not matter! What matters is you get to put back on your dress (that you’ll only wear one time anyway) and get pictures that you may not have taken the time to get on your wedding day. Another plus is when you do a Day After session you are more relaxed, your not worried about getting to a reception or anything.

My good friend, Julie and I were talking the other day and decided we needed to get together and do a Day After session for her, she felt like she didn’t have any pictures of her by herself in her dress.  So we took care of that!

I have to say a HUGE thank you to Linden for taking us to the awesome location we used and to my Aunt Pamela for letting us use her chair! (Aunt Pam, I do love this chair, please don’t recover it as you are planning to! XoXo)

Today I have been married to the man I love and my best friend for two years… And so I thought I’d share a few of my favorite wedding pictures!  (All images taken by Kelley Clayton Photography)

2007 was a year of weddings in our group of friends… this is a picture of all of us who got married that year, and it is still one of my favorites! There are other pictures of us all looking and smiling, but I love this one because it is so real! I can still remember us all standing there laughing and having a great time!

 Lisa and Brent are expecting their first baby this month, so we got together for a maternity shoot… I had a ton of favorites, but finally narrowed it down to these!

Brent is such a nut! (can you tell from this picture below?!)

Wow. she definitely has that ‘glow’……

She does not know if she is having a boy or a girl! Yay!

Her due date is actually on Halloween; so we went to a pumpkin patch for the last pictures…. we got there after the sun had set, so we didn’t have a lot of light to work with But, we still got some great pictures!

Thanks again Brent and Lisa! Can’t wait to see if you have yourselves a little girl or a little boy!

This is a picture from Kennedy’s weekly shoot… this week marked Week 50! Wow! Only two more weeks and she’ll be one year old!  Sigh. It is so hard to believe….
