Miscellaneous Monday

I cannot believe that this is the last day of November! (and on a sidenote, it is my hubby’s birthday – Happy Birthday Babe!)  So, how many of you got out and went shopping Friday? I did! I don’t normally go shopping on the biggest shopping day of the year, but I did this year. And I did find some deals!  A little fact about me; I am not a big shopper. I somehow missed out on the girl gene that loves to shop.  I don’t hate to shop, just don’t love it.

I have had a few people ask me about Kenendy’s birthday pictures, (thank you for being interested!) Honestly, I didn’t post them because I really didn’t take a lot, I was too busy! But, here are a few that we did take, nothing great, just some snapshots.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Grandkids

We did this shoot awhile back of the Love grandkids for MeMaw’s Birthday (Happy Birthday Penny!) And now that her birthday has come and gone I can share these with you…

Three gorgeous sisters and one adorable baby boy. And let me tell you, these girls just love their little cousin, they constantly wanted to kiss and hold him, it was adorable!

Thanks again Alicia and Jamie for asking me to do these for you… :)

Miscellaneous Monday

Today I bring you pictures of my daughter thoroughly enjoying her Spaghetti lunch….

Okay, so maybe I went  a little overboard on posting pictures!

While we are on ‘Miscellaneous Monday’ I’ll take the chance to list a couple of things I am currently loving (after all, Miscellaneous Monday’s are supposed to be random!)

Christmas scented candles from Yankee Candle and I am especially loving the fact that right now you can print this coupon and get yourself a great deal!

Scarves – I love them, I love them, I love them! A girl can never have too many scarves.

There you go, a little big dose of Kennedy pictures and some rambling from me… I hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

3 Brothers and a Sister…

Meet Maddox, Hudson, Landry and Gannon. They are adorable, and very good, just not very interested in having their pictures made! However, we did manage to capture some really cute ones…..

Amanda (their Mom) had not planned on getting in the pictures, but decided to jump in a few anyway and I was so glad, I love them! I could not decide between these next two so I am posting them both…

And because I am sure you are wondering if the two older boys are twins… no, they are not.  But the two youngest, Landry and Gannon are! Amanda has her hands full and I have to say; I was so impressed at how good she is with them!

Thanks again Amanda for asking me to do these for you… XoXo

Jane

Happy 1st Birthday Jane!  Lynn, Jane’s Mom, asked me to come and take some birthday pictures and I was more than happy too! Here are a few of my favorites…

The cakes were adorable… she had one big cake for everyone and one small one for Jane to dig into. This is the small one..

And this is the bigger one:

This is what the cake looked like after Jane got done with it! She did a great job digging in and having a good time!!

Miscellaneous Monday

Thanks to those of you who commented on my pencil picture last Misc. Monday… By  posting that picture I was inspired to bring out the pencil’s and shoot again! This time I feel like I got a shot I like better. I really don’t have the correct lens to get the shot I really wanted, (Oh Santa….!) but I do like what I got. Here are a couple of different ones:

There you go! I have no plans for these pictures, just like to take cool pictures of ordinary things….

My cousin Ginny and her baby Jax came over one day this week and I snapped these few of Jax and Kennedy together…

Kennedy is ‘kissing’ Jax below!

I think she is going to make a great big sister!

Hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

Sailer

I have to admit that I loved doing this shoot.  Sailer is just adorable and her Mom dressed her in the cutest stuff! This was right up my alley!

I don’t think I could pick a favorite… but there is something about this one (below) that I just love!

I took Kennedy along for this shoot. I do not ever do this, but Aja, being the sweetheart that she is,  insisted that she did not mind. However, Kennedy felt like she needed to get in the pictures too!  These are a couple of shots a captured of her and Sailer….

Miscellaneous Monday

Ah, It’s Monday again! I have to admit… I am looking forward to the week. I want to get all kinds of stuff done and have already made myself a list titled “Personal Goals this week”. Yes, I know, I am a nerd. But I love list’s! I feel better when I have a list, like I am more organized and it helps me actually get the stuff done! This list only includes personal stuff I want to get done or do. Personal projects or other things, such as yoga! Anyway, I am looking forward to checking off that list….

I warned you all when I started posting “Miscellaneous Monday’s” that it might be random, and this post is definitely random. I am rambling! So feel free to click off and check back later this week for some photo shoots if you are bored out of your mind!

Another little random something; I also love quotes and sayings. I came across one while in the mountains this past week that really cracked me up so I am going to share it with you…

“What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it’s all about?”

Haha! I found myself laughing out loud at that one! (I am also the girl on the card aisle laughing out loud at cards by herself!)

Okay, now for a miscellaneous/random picture… I came across this one recently, I had taken it awhile back and it didn’t turn out anything like I wanted or expected.  I had wanted to take a cool picture of colored pencil’s and got only a couple of shots before I  had to stop for some reason or another and have not given it another thought, till I came across this picture. So, maybe by posting this one it will inspire me to give it another try and get the shot I really wanted!

Brittany and Kate

Brittany and Kate are two gorgeous sisters who asked me to take some pictures for their Mom’s birthday… I am pretty sure their Mom will love this gift!

I also want to mention their clothes…. I have a lot of people ask me what to wear (I love it when people ask me that, because I feel that by wearing the ‘right’ thing it makes for much better pictures!) Here are my thoughts on clothes: First, COLOR is good! If you don’t have something colorful, black is always a good option. Don’t be matchy-matchy, but coordinate. Layers are good, such as a scarf, a belt, vest, sweater, etc. But most importantly, be comfortable. Those are the main things to remember. If you have a shoot with me and have questions, just ask, I’ll be happy to help!  Oh yeah, I started out talking about Brittany and Kate! These two dressed perfect.  Take a look:
