My brothers girlfriends brother (did you follow all that?!) plays baseball for a local high school, Piedmont High, and since he is a senior and will be graduating this year I went out and took some pictures of him playing. Here are a few of my favorites….

The “H” Family
My cousin wanted to get a few pictures taken of her family before she had baby #4, then after the baby comes in August, get some more done. So, we did a quick shoot and got some great pictures!
I especially love these of Paulette and Matt…. they entertain each other and make each other laugh easily, and when I get pictures of people laughing they always end up being my favorites! There is just something about laughter that I love…. It just feels so natural and happy!
Miscellaneous Monday
Happy Mothers Day - a day late – to all of you Mothers out there. I hope your day was wonderful!
I still consider myself a ‘new’ Mom since Kennedy is only 18 months old, but this Mothers Day was even more special since she is a little older and understands a little more. (Like how to give me my gifts and get all excited about it!) Stu let her ‘sign’ my card then she came running into the kitchen and gave it to me. She was so excited! I squatted down on the floor next to her and opened it and she would literally hop from one foot to the other from excitement! It was definitely one of the highlights of my day!
These are a few pictures I took of Kennedy several weeks ago that I love just because they are so real… This girl keeps me busy!
and a cute shot I got of Bristol last week…
Happy Monday everyone!

Miscellaneous Monday
You know that feeling you get sometimes when you take a picture and you just know your gonna love it? Well, I snapped an un-planned, un-posed picture of my cousin Leah this weekend and I got that feeling. Once I got it on my computer I sure enough did love it. So, I decided I’d share it with you all.
I hear a lot of different opinions on color versus black and white pictures. Some love color, some love black and white. Me? Well I tend to lean towards color. I love great color in a picture. But, I also love black and white. B&W gives a picture such a classic and simple feel. In fact, I have a hard time deciding which to blog sometimes! So, for this little shot of Leah that I like so well I decided to process it in color, B&W and sepia. I want to know, which do YOU like best?
#1 Color
#2 B&W
#3 Sepia
As much as I love all three of these; I think I’ll have to choose the color one as my favorite!
Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!
Garrett, Megan and Tylan
Megan and I are cousins and friends. We grew up together, we worked together, we went on double dates together, and now suddenly I am taking her family pictures! What?! Honestly, as I went through these pictures I found myself thinking “Wow, we have our own families now! We are married, we have kids, we are all grown up!”
Meg, thanks for trusting me to capture these moments for you. I had so much fun!
Seriously, Tylan is so cute!
Haha! Love this next one!
I love these next two of Megan… Every girl needs a great picture by herself!
Two of my favorites from the day….
Okay, so these next two are two of my favorites also!

Love this image I captured while doing a shoot recently! It felt so good to be shooting again, I had scheduled shoots for 6 weeks after my due date, then Bristol was 5 days late… But I have been feeling so good I decided I could go ahead and do one earlier than what I had planned. And to all you ‘Mother Hens’ out there clucking your tongues in disapproval; I promise I am taking it easy! I did not have to chase any kids around for this shoot and I did not get in any of my signature crazy positions!
Anyway, back to the image I am loving… I would be printing this one on a big canvas and hanging in my living room if it were me and my family! It just has a good feeling about it somehow…
I’ll be posting more from this shoot soon… till then, Happy Monday!
Miscellaneous Monday
I seem to have a never-ending supply of ‘favorite’ pictures of Kennedy lately; which is a good thing! I just hope you all don’t get tired of seeing her on here! She is really showing off lately and I love capturing it. But that is not an easy thing to do. She just does not stay still for long at all, which results in lots of blurry pictures! But, it is all worth it when I get ones like these:
She dropped a piece of her popsicle; but did that stop her from eating it?
No way Mom! Still tastes good to me!
Cameron came over to play with her one day….
And Ryan…
And last, but not least, Morgan came over too..
Happy Monday!
